It explains how it is not some gift only for the "chosen few" but actually a skill that can be learned and applied. Using inventive photos from his own stunning portfolio, author and veteran photographer Bryan Peterson deconstructs creativity for photographers. He details the basic techniques that went into not only taking a particular photo, but also provides insights on how to improve upon ithelping readers avoid the visual pitfalls and technical dead ends that can lead to dull, uninventive photographs. top July 5, 2010 J. schneider i am very happy to have this book.
You can learn step by step to develope your creativ seeing.
Just what we 'average' photographers need... June 26, 2010 Jeff Hansman (Carmel Valley, CA USA) ...to learn how to take better than average photographs. Peterson does a masterful job of explaining how you can use the elements of design to see more in a shot than you might otherwise. This book has earned a permanent place on my shelf because it's advice is practical, useful, and clearly stated. Moreover, the techniques and concepts it covers can be applied with ANY lens, contrary to what other here have written. It is one of the few photography books I've bought (and I've bought more than a few) that has truly helped me move forward in the hobby. The author's book on exposure is a fine primer for the beginner, and this volume is an excellent companion piece.
Impressive! April 17, 2010 Damon Shaw (Miami, FL United States) This is a great book! Too often, while mulling through substandard pictures in similar books, one begins to sense a 'do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do' approach to teaching photography. "Learning to See Creatively" is NOT one of those books as rock-solid concepts are accompanied by breathtaking images...along with detailed explanations of the techniques used by the author when taking each picture. I give this book an A+.
not received. What is taking so long? April 4, 2010 Lourdes Arriete (Miami, Fl. USA) 0 out of 8 found this review helpful

I don't know what the delay or problem is with this book's delivery. If you don't intend to send it, give me my money back!!!!!
