We Wore Out This Book... September 21, 2009 J. R. Osborn (Southern Illinois) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Considering my wife and I only spent 4 days visiting the coast of Maine we used this book so much that I would need to replace it if we made another trip. The maps and the directions were excellent. In addition to information on times of day to get the best photographs, tides, etc., there were tips on dining and side attractions. We highlighted, underlined and turned down page corners to the extent that the guide got pretty ragged. Pictures in the guide were excellent and intriguing. For anyone seriously interested in photography in Maine, this is a must-have guide book.
Great guide for Maine coast travelers! July 10, 2009 Pat V. (Downers Grove,Illinois) I found this to be a great help in capturing the sites on the Maine coast on our recent trip. I will keep it for future trips to this location. We will need to return since the Noreaster storms plagued our entire trip to the east coast. It rained every day we were there but our midwestern perseverance got us out to take many pictures recommended by the author.
