A simplistic and useful guide...well done Magic Lantern May 20, 2010 Mr "M" (UK) Quite simply, if like me, you are new to "slightly more advanced" digital photography, you want a guide that is simple and easy to navigate. Well, this is it folks - literally! I dip in and out of this guide as I want to discover something and quite honestly, you look at the index, find the general area of interest, flick to the page and...discover!
A well laid out guide with clear advice - buy it now.
canon g10 powershot March 29, 2010 Joel A. Byrd If you own the canon G10, This is the best investment that you can make. Throw the instruction manual that comes with the camera away. Allinstructions are easy to understand. This book will make you an educated user of the Canon G10. I purchased one for myself and one for my brother. Excellent instruction manual.
Canon G 10 Book March 24, 2010 C. Falbo This was purchased for my wife who has the camera. Easy to read. Good value
Bad binding and similar content to the Canon user manual March 4, 2010 Gibbaan Erasmus 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had the same problem with the binding the first time I used this book. It's just bad binding and I nearly lost some of the loose pages. It's almost like the pages are meant to be torn out.I also expected more of the content and think it's just a glamorized version of the Canon manual. There's not much more I could achieve with this book than with the Canon user manual.
A good read February 11, 2010 S. Belaire (Raleigh,NC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've owned a G10 for more than a year and still did not know half the things I discovered in this book. If you spent the money on the camera your going to double your delight with this book. One night of reading will open up a whole new world of features that frankly canon just does a bad job in their book of describing.
